Who The Service Is For
The service is for dentists, hygienists, practice principal dentists, locums and other GDC-registered professionals working in NHS, private practice or mixed NHS and private roles. In England, annual appraisal is an NHS contract requirement for eligible clinicians. Appraisal conditions differ across Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Practices can arrange online appraisals instead of carrying out appraisals in-house. Clinicians can spend more time treating patients. Each appraisal focuses on the quality of the conversation, the development plan and clear written feedback.
02 / Why An External Appraiser
The appraisal reviews your professional work, learning and development needs. It is not a check of how many patients you see or how much work you produce. I do not employ you or decide your pay, contract or UDAs.
